Lest We Forget

To the soldiers that suffered,
On that dreadful day in Gallipoli.
We thank you for the courage you showed,
So we could be free today.

Your true displays of mateship,
Will live on through the ages.
As a shining beacon of the ANZAC spirit,
Forever an example of the selfless teamwork shown by man.

You are not only but soldiers,
But fathers, grandfathers, brothers and cousins of the living.
So we remember for the memory you left behind,
And the sacrifice that was given for our freedom.
